In traditional Chinese culture, the eighth day of the Chinese New Year is considered highly auspicious. The number 8 sounds similar to the Chinese character “fa”, which means growth, prosperity and good fortune. We chose this day to start our new business year to embrace this positive symbolism, wishing for smooth cooperation and long‑term success with all our partners.
Following this tradition, we gave our team red envelopes, known as “Hongbao,” and held a team lunch to celebrate the new start. Red envelopes contain money or lucky gifts, symbolizing good fortune, health, and prosperity, while the gathering helps strengthen team spirit, so everyone can return to work with renewed energy and motivation.
